1.4876 Nickel Alloy 800 Plate is a material that performs well in extreme environments. The alloy has good creep resistance even when exposed to temperatures up to 1100°F (593°C). The Al + Ti content is limited to 0.7% max to avoid weakening between 500 and 700°C. It resists oxidation and sulfidation in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. This makes it suitable for applications such as furnace components, heat exchangers and nuclear steam generators. Incoloy 800 Manufacturer Hot Forming
- Hot formed at a temperature range of 900 to 1200°C and then rapidly quenched in water or air. Heavy forging should be done at 1850°F to 2200°F (1010°C to 1200°C).
- Annealing is done at 1200°C.
- After thermoforming, heat treatment is recommended to obtain optimum creep strength.
