1.4539 steel Mechanical Properties

Tensile strength (Rm) minimum value is 490MPa (71ksi), yield strength (Rp0.2) minimum value is 220MPa (32ksi), elongation (2-inch or 4d gauge length) minimum value is 35%. Its austenitic microstructure maintains good toughness even at low temperatures, and it can adapt to a working temperature range of -40℃ to 450℃, with a maximum operating temperature not exceeding 450℃.

Automatic welding is used in the production process, and no filler metal is added during welding. Welded pipes with an NPS (Nominal Pipe Size) not exceeding 14 are only permitted to have one longitudinal weld seam, while welded pipes with an NPS greater than 14 may have two longitudinal weld seams after approval by the purchaser. Deep cold-worked pipes are based on welded pipes, with the pipe wall and weld seam undergoing a cold working reduction of at least 35% before final annealing.
