Hastelloy B3 2.4600, Nickel B3 exhibits unparalleled resistance to hydrochloric acid and other strongly reducing acids, making it ideal for handling aggressive chemical processes. The alloy performs well up to 1000°F (538°C) while maintaining its superior resistance to reducing acids. For short periods, 2.4600 Hastelloy B3 can withstand temperatures up to 1200°F (649°C). Ideal for reactors, heat exchangers, and piping systems where exposure to corrosive chemicals is prevalent.
