3mm 316 Stainless Steel Sheet is highly resistant to corrosion, especially in chloride environments. The addition of molybdenum increases the corrosion resistance of 316 Stainless over the more economical 304 grade. ASTM A240 UNS S31600 is able to withstand a variety of corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, salts and chemicals, giving it excellent performance in harsh environments. It has good oxidation resistance and is able to withstand oxidation and thermal cycling in high temperature applications. Alloy 316 stainless steel plate has good strength and toughness.
