ASTM B622 UNS N06022 seamless pipe should not be used at temperatures exceeding 1250° F. At temperatures exceeding 1250° F, Hastelloy C22 pipe material is susceptible to the formation of deleterious phases. (SMLS) seamless pipes are made by perforating a solid billet to form a hollow shell, the manufacturing process does not include any welding and can withstand greater pressures than welded pipes.
