Hastelloy C2000 Sheet is suitable for corrosive chemical environments such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and acetic acid. ASTM B575 UNS N06200 also adds tungsten and copper for excellent localized corrosion resistance, making it an ideal material for seawater applications. In addition, the low carbon content of 2.4675 material reduces the risk of carbide precipitation and improves its resistance to intergranular corrosion. Hastelloy C2000 Vs C276

Hastelloy C2000: It contains higher concentrations of Chromium (23-27%) and Molybdenum (15-17%) than C276. It also contains large amounts of copper (1.6-2.4%) and small amounts of tungsten (0.6-2.0%).
Hastelloy C276: Low in chromium (14.5-16.5%) and molybdenum (15-17%) and does not contain significant amounts of copper or tungsten.
