Product Introduction

With a PREN of 31 and a high nickel content of 42%, Incoloy 825 pipe has good corrosion resistance in many environments. Including reducing and oxidizing acids, organic acids, seawater, salts, and alkalis. Alloy 825 material is particularly resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. The addition of molybdenum provides good resistance to chloride-induced localized corrosion, including pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. In addition, 2.4858 Alloy 825 material also has good oxidation resistance.

Alloy 825 UNS N08825 Operating Temperature

ASME SB 163 UNS N08825 Tubing can be used at temperatures from cryogenic to 1000°F (540°C). Alloy 825 is not recommended for use at temperatures above 1000°F (538°C) due to the formation of detrimental phases that can negatively affect impact toughness and ductility.
