Product Introduction

Incoloy 800h is a high carbon version of Alloy 800. Incoloy 800h pipe has excellent fracture properties in the temperature range above 600 degrees Celsius. And maintains ductility during long-term use. ASTM B407 UNS N08810 It resists oxidation, reduction and nitridation in the surrounding environment. Commonly used in heat exchangers, chemical and petrochemical processing, superheaters and reheaters in power plants, etc.

Incoloy 800 Vs 800H

Incoloy 800H pipe has the same basic composition as Incoloy 800, but has significantly higher creep rupture strength. The higher strength comes from the strict control of carbon, aluminum and titanium content and high temperature annealing.

Nickel Alloy 800H Temperature Range

Incoloy 800H has high temperature resistance, and 800H material is also a carbon controlled version of Alloy 800. It can typically withstand temperatures from about 600°C (1112°F) to about 1100°C (2012°F) without significant loss of mechanical properties.

UNS N08810 Material Heat Treatment

Incoloy alloy 800h is typically annealed at temperatures between 982°C and 1038°C (1800°F and 1900°F) to relieve stresses and improve its high temperature properties. This heat treatment process is followed by air cooling or rapid quenching in water.

Incoloy 800h Tubing Quality Test:

  • Flattening test
  • Pitting Resistance Test
  • Hardness Testing
  • Chemical Analysis – Spectral Analysis
  • Micro and Macro Testing
  • Flare Test Intergranular Corrosion (IGC) Test
  • Mechanical testing such as area tensile
  • Positive Material Identification (PMI Test)
