Monel 400 Tube, also known as UNS N04400, is a nickel-copper solid solution alloy that is highly corrosion resistant. Monel 400 is composed of 65-70% nickel, 20-29% copper, and small amounts of iron, manganese, and silicon. Tubes made from Nickel Copper Alloy 400 are known for their excellent corrosion resistance and are often exposed to marine applications where they are exposed to salt water and other corrosive elements. ASTM B165 UNS N04400 Tube also has excellent resistance to alkaline and acidic media, which makes it suitable for use in the chemical processing industry as well.
