ASTM A240 317L Stainless Steel Plate consists of 18% to 20% chromium, 3% to 4% molybdenum, and 11% to 15% nickel. Stainless steel 317L has excellent corrosion and heat resistance. Especially in terms of acid resistance, it shows good resistance to corrosive media such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and chloride. Stainless steel 1.4438 has low magnetism.
