904L Stainless Steel Plate is a super austenitic stainless steel. N08904 steel grade contains high levels of nickel and molybdenum, making it resistant to a variety of corrosive media such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and phosphoric acid. The addition of copper can also improve resistance to reducing acids such as sulfuric acid. SS 904L plate has good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting and general corrosion, better than 316L and 317L.
