254SMO stainless steel plate contains 6-6.5% molybdenum and 19.5-20.5% chromium, and also contains small amounts of nitrogen and copper to improve its corrosion resistance. S31254 is known for its excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, especially in harsh environments such as seawater, sulfuric acid and chloride-containing solutions. The corrosion resistance of alloy EN 1.4547 stainless steel materials is comparable to nickel-based alloys and titanium alloys.
