ASTM A240 Stainless Steel 310S Plate is a low carbon version of the 310 stainless steel grade, further enhancing its weldability and reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion sensitization. Stainless Steel 310S Plate has excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of environments including oxidizing and reducing atmospheres. A240 310S Plate has good resistance to oxidation and scaling at temperatures up to 2000°F (1093°C). Commonly used in applications such as furnace components, heat exchangers, and radiant tubes.

ASTM A240 Grade 310s Plate Heat Treatment
ASTM A240 UNS S31008 steel plates can undergo various heat treatment processes to improve properties. Anneal at temperatures between 1900°F (1038°C) and 2050°F (1121°C), followed by rapid quenching.
