Since SS304 contains 18% chromium (Cr) and 8% nickel (Ni), it is also called 18/8 stainless steel. 304 Stainless Steel Plate Classification

1.4301 stainless steel includes SS 304 plate, sheet, strip, coil. Stainless steel 304 sheet is 0.3mm-4mm. More than 4mm is a thick plate, and the thick plate is divided into medium and extra thick plates. The medium and thick plates are 3mm-50mm, and the extra thick plates are ≥50mm.
