316 Stainless Steel Plate
1. Standard:ASTM A240、ASME SA240
2. Width: 0~2500mm or as per your requirements
3. Length: 0~12m or as per your requirements
4. Thickness: 0.3~1200mm or as per your requirements
316 Stainless Steel Plate has excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature strength due to the addition of 2.00 to 3.00 molybdenum. SS 316 plate can resist atmospheric corrosion, as well as moderate oxidizing and reducing environments. Alloy 316 is non-magnetic in the annealed state. In addition, ASTM A240 UNS S31600 plate also has good processing and welding properties. It is the raw material for the production of stainless steel welded pipes and can be processed, cut and bent as needed.
ASTM A240 UNS S31600 Plate Application:
- Marine application
- Ship parts
- Chemical processing
- Food processing equipment
- Aerospace application
- Engine parts

316 Stainless Steel Plate VS 304 Plate
Both 304 and 306 are austenitic stainless steels. 316 plate contains the element Mo, so SS 316 plate has higher corrosion resistance than 304 plate, especially in chloride ion environment. And Alloy 316 is stronger than 304, but its ductility and machinability are relatively poor.

Specification for Chromium and Chromium-Nickel Stainless Steel Plate, Sheet, and Strip for Pressure Vessels and for General Applications
316 Stainless Plate Surface Finished
| Finish | Description |
| No.1 | Dull rough uneven appearance.Most suitable for industrial applications |
| 2B | Dull grey slightiy reflective finish. Most widely used cold rolled mill finish |
| 4B | Uniform direction brushed look,not highty reflective.A good general purpose finish |
| Hairline (HL) | Well-defined directional finish with long and fine lines. |
| Bright Annealed (BA) | Cold rolled, annealed in a controlled atmosphere to retain a highly reflective and mirror-like finish |
| No.8(Mirror) | Most reflective surface available. Used for cosmetic applications such as mirrors and reflectors. |
