ASTM A240 Stainless Steel Plate Sheet And Strip Classification

• Stainless steel plate: Plates are flat rolled products with a thickness of more than 3/16 inches [5 mm] and a width of more than 24 inches [600 mm].
• Stainless steel Sheet: Plates are flat rolled products with a thickness of less than 3/16 inches [5 mm] and a width of more than 24 inches [600 mm].
• Stainless steel strip: Strip is a very thin flat product, while strip is a cold-rolled flat product with a thickness less than 3/16″ [5 mm] and a width less than 24″ [600 mm].
