Alloy c22 pipe is one of the most corrosion resistant alloys available, offering better overall resistance to uniform and localized corrosion than any other Ni-Cr-Mo alloy, such as Hastelloy C-276 and Alloy 625. Hastelloy pipe is a great alternative when duplex stainless steels (2205 and 2507) and super austenitic stainless steels (AL-6XN, 904L, and 254 SMO) cannot withstand extreme corrosive environments.

UNS N06022 pipe consistently performs well when exposed to strong oxidants, such as ferric and cupric chlorides, chlorine, organic and inorganic thermally contaminated solutions, acetic anhydride, formic and acetic acids, and seawater and brine solutions.
