Alloy C276 Pipe exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of corrosive media, including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, seawater, and alkaline solutions. Nickel C276 can withstand temperatures up to approximately 1000°C (1832°F) during long-term continuous use. Hastelloy C276 Heat Treatment

C-276 cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. C-276 is typically solution annealed at 2050°F (1121°C) followed by rapid cooling.

SB 622 UNS N10276 Machinability

C-276 can be hot worked in the range of 1600°F - 2250°F (870°C - 1230°C). Annealing is recommended after hot working.
