Hastelloy C276 Tubes are highly resistant to corrosive media such as acids and chlorides. They also have the ability to resist pitting and crevice corrosion. UNS N10276 material can be used for long periods of time at temperatures up to 927 degrees Celsius (1700 degrees Fahrenheit). Hastelloy 2.4819 is also able to withstand higher temperatures in the case of short-term exposure. Hastelloy alloy C276 tubes are commonly used in chemical reactors and heat exchangers. • Tensile Strength: about 750 MPa (about 108,000 psi).
• Yield Strength (Yield Strength): about 350 MPa (about 50,000 psi).
• Elongation (Elongation): about 50%.
• Hardness: At room temperature, the hardness of Hastelloy C276 is about 200 HB (Brinell hardness).
