Product Introduction

Incoloy Alloy 825 Sheet is a popular nickel-iron-chromium alloy designed to provide high corrosion resistance. ASTM B424 Incoloy 825 is known for its excellent resistance to reducing and oxidizing acids, making it ideal for use in sour environments. Alloy 825 UNS N08825 has excellent resistance to sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid corrosion and is generally the most cost-effective alloy for sulfuric acid applications. Especially in corrosive environments such as chemical processing plants and oil and gas production facilities.

Nickel Alloy 825 High-temperature Resistance

Nickel Alloy 825 plate can withstand continuous service temperatures up to 540°C and resists chloride stress corrosion cracking better than other nickel-based alloys.

Fabrication of Incoloy 825

Nickel Incoloy 825 is easy to hot or cold work. Hot working temperatures should be in the range 870 – 1180°C and finishing temperatures should be in the range 870 – 980°C. For maximum corrosion resistance, hot-worked parts should be stabilized and annealed before use.

UNS N08825 Heat Treatment

Incoloy 825 UNS N08825 is stabilized and annealed at 940°C.
