The main components of N08810 alloy are nickel (30.0%-35.0%), chromium (19.0%-23.0%) and iron (balance), and aluminum (0.15%-0.60%) and titanium (0.15%-0.60%) are added to enhance high-temperature stability.

Corrosion resistance of N08810 alloy plate
The corrosion resistance of N08810 comes from the high nickel-chromium content. Nickel gives it the ability to resist stress corrosion cracking in reducing media, while chromium enhances its resistance to oxidizing media (such as nitric acid, organic acids) and pitting and crevice corrosion. Local pitting may occur in halide environments, but it performs well in oxidizing and non-oxidizing salts (such as carbonates and sulfates).

Vacuum induction melting (VIM) or electroslag remelting (ESR) technology is used to ensure uniform composition and reduce the content of impurity gases to improve the purity of the material.
Hot working of incoloy n08810 plate
The hot rolling temperature range is 1200℃-950℃. After final rolling, water quenching or rapid air cooling is required to inhibit carbide precipitation. Solution treatment after hot working (such as annealing at 1149℃) can optimize the grain size to ASTM grade 5 or coarser and enhance creep resistance.
Cold working and heat treatment of 1.4958 plate
The deformation amount needs to be controlled during cold working. When it exceeds 10%, intermediate annealing should be performed to avoid cracks caused by work hardening. Finally, secondary solution treatment is required to restore the plasticity of the material.
