UNS N08800 Plate Chemical Composition
The typical composition of Incoloy 800 includes about 30%-35% nickel, 19%-23% chromium and the balance of iron, and contains a small amount of aluminum (0.15%-0.6%) and titanium (0.15%-0.6%).

Alloy 800 plate Physical and mechanical properties
The density of Incoloy 800 sheet is about 7.95 g/cm³, and the melting point is between 1350℃ and 1400℃. Its thermal expansion coefficient is 14.4 μm/m·℃ at 20℃-100℃, and its thermal conductivity is 11.7 W/m·K. These characteristics enable it to withstand frequent thermal cycles without deformation. At room temperature, the tensile strength of the plate is usually more than 500 MPa, the yield strength is higher than 200 MPa, and the elongation can reach more than 30%.

Nickel alloy 800 sheet cold processing
The cold processing of Incoloy 800 plate needs to control the deformation, and it is recommended to anneal after each processing to eliminate residual stress.
800 alloy steel plate hot processing
The hot processing temperature should be controlled at 980°C-1175°C, and avoid staying in the range of 650°C-870°C to prevent carbide precipitation.
Incoloy N08800 plate Corrosion resistance
Incoloy 800 performs well in a variety of corrosive media. In oxidizing environments (such as nitric acid and oxygen-containing acids), the dense oxide film formed by chromium can effectively prevent further corrosion, under reducing conditions (such as dilute sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid), the high nickel content improves the resistance to local corrosion. This material is particularly good at dealing with high-temperature sulfide and chloride corrosion.
