inconel 625 pipe Morphology and Manufacturing

alloy 625 tube Melting

Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) is used for the primary melt, allowing for precise control of the alloy composition and effective removal of gases and impurities. Electroslag remelting (ESR) or vacuum consumable remelting (VAR) is typically performed to further purify the metal, improve the solidification structure of the ingot, eliminate segregation, and produce an ingot with uniform composition and extremely high purity.

inconel m06625 pipe Forging and Rolling

The heated ingot is forged in a massive forging press to break up the coarse as-cast structure and compact internal defects. Subsequently, the ingot undergoes multiple rounds of hot rolling (performed above the recrystallization temperature) to gradually reduce it to the desired thickness. This process refines the grain size and significantly improves the material's mechanical properties and transverse toughness.

astm n06625 tube Heat Treatment

Inconel 625 plate is typically annealed (typically between 870°C and 1100°C, followed by rapid cooling). This process dissolves carbides and gamma-ray phase precipitated during processing, softening the alloy and achieving optimal corrosion resistance and a suitable workable hardness (e.g., the annealed state specified in ASTM B446).

inconel 625 welded tube Surface treatment and finishing

The surface of the plate can be treated in a variety of ways, such as sandblasting and pickling to remove oxide scale, or grinding and polishing to achieve specific surface finish requirements.

Application of alloy n06625 pipe

Oil and gas: submarine pipelines, downhole tools for acid gas wells.

Chemical equipment: sulfuric acid reactors, phosphoric acid evaporators, pickling equipment.

Nuclear industry: containers and pipelines for nuclear waste treatment systems.

Marine engineering: seawater desalination devices, heat exchangers.

Environmental protection: key components of flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems.
