316L stainless steel pipe Cold Bend Forming
Press Bending: A large hydraulic press and die are used to press the pipe into the die cavity to form the elbow. This is suitable for applications with thicker walls and larger bend radii.
Push Bending: A dedicated pusher machine uses a mandrel and a heated (or unheated) device to push the pipe through the die, causing it to plastically deform and bend into shape. The finished product has a smooth inner wall and low fluid resistance.

SS 316L Pipe Bend Maintenance
Regularly inspect the piping system, especially the exterior of the elbows and weld areas for signs of corrosion. When cleaning, use a dedicated stainless steel cleaning agent. Do not use cleaning agents containing chloride ions, such as hydrochloric acid, to avoid pitting corrosion.
Keep the 316L stainless steel pipe elbows surface clean and dry to prevent the prolonged adhesion of foreign matter such as iron powder and dust, which can damage the passivation film and cause localized corrosion.
