Alloy 31 Corrosion resistance
In strong acid environments, the alloy 31 can withstand erosion by concentrated sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, and mixed acids of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid with a concentration of up to 98%. At the same time, it has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) caused by chlorides and fluorides.
Nickel Alloy 31 High temperature stability
Alloy 31 can still maintain high strength at high temperatures (up to 550°C), and there is no significant decrease in toughness at low temperatures (-50°C). Its mechanical properties in the solution annealed state are particularly outstanding, with a tensile strength of ≥650MPa, a yield strength of ≥300MPa, and an elongation of ≥40%.
Fatigue Of Alloy 31
Under cyclic stress conditions, Alloy 31 exhibits unique fatigue properties. Rotational bending fatigue tests show that its 10⁷-cycle fatigue strength reaches 400MPa, which is 60% higher than that of traditional austenitic steel.

Processing of Alloy 1.4562
Hot processing: recommended temperature 1050-1200℃, water cooling or rapid air cooling to ensure uniform organization.
Cold processing: high rigidity equipment is required, and intermediate annealing is required when the deformation exceeds 15%.
