Applications of Alloy 825 plate
Alloy 825 / Incoloy 825 / UNS N08825 / 2.4858 is a nickel-chromium-iron-based alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength and is widely used in various industrial fields. Includes Chemical industry, Oil and Gas Industry and Marine engineering etc.

Chemical Industry Applications:
Distillation towers and absorption towers: Inconel 825 | Alloy 825 | UNS N08825 can be used to manufacture lining plates for distillation towers and absorption towers to withstand highly corrosive acid, alkali and salt solutions.
Reactors and storage tanks: Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, Alloy 825 plate is often used as the lining of reactors and storage tanks to withstand various chemical reactions and corrosive media.
Oil and Gas Industry Applications:
Refinery Equipment: Alloy 825 UNS N08825 plates can be used in various equipment in refineries, such as distillation columns, separators and storage tanks, to resist crude oil and chemicals containing sulfide and acidic components.
Deepwater oil well equipment: In deepwater oil wells, Nickel Alloy 825 plates are widely used to manufacture subsea equipment such as pipes, valves and connectors to resist corrosion in seawater and high-pressure environments.
Marine Engineering Applications:
Seawater treatment equipment: 2.4858 Alloy 825 sheets can be used in seawater desalination equipment, seawater coolers and seawater pumps to resist corrosion in seawater and high-salinity environments.
Offshore platforms and marine equipment: Alloy 825 sheets can be used to manufacture components for offshore platforms, ships and marine structures, such as pipes, valves and pumps.
Incoloy 825 | Nickel Alloy 825 | Ams 5542 Characteristic:
Corrosion resistance: INCOLOY Alloy 825 plate has excellent corrosion resistance in corrosive media, including acids, alkalis, chlorides and sulfides, etc. Nickel 825 plate shows excellent corrosion resistance in various corrosive media. For example, in sulfuric acid, it has a corrosion resistance rate of about 0.13 mm/year; in hydrochloric acid, it has a corrosion resistance rate of about 0.05 mm/year.
High temperature strength: Incoloy 825 strip maintains good strength and oxidation resistance in high temperature environments, and its heat resistance can reach 550°C. Alloy 825 plate maintains good strength in high temperature environments. Its yield strength (0.2% deviation from permanent set) is approximately 415 MPa, and in terms of tensile strength, it is approximately 760 MPa. This gives it reliable strength in high temperature applications.
Mechanical properties: Incoloy 825 plate has good ductility and toughness, allowing it to withstand the high pressure and high stress environments found in chemical equipment and marine engineering. Its elongation at break is about 30%, which shows that it has good toughness when impacted or deformed.
Thermal expansion coefficient: The linear expansion coefficient of Alloy 825 plate sheet strip is approximately 12.8 x 10^-6 /°C, which makes it a good match to the thermal expansion of other materials at high temperatures.
