ASME B16.11 Threaded 45 Degree Elbow Dimension Supplier. Contact us to get free quote and sample!
ASME B16.11 is a standard for forged steel threaded pipe fittings. It applies to forged steel threaded 45° elbows with nominal pressure (Class) ratings of 1500, 2000, 3000, 6000.. Materials include carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel, and it is primarily used in industrial piping systems in the petroleum, chemical, and power industries. The connection method is internal thread (NPT) or external thread (NPT).

Material advice
Carbon steel: Suitable for Class 1500-6000 under normal operating conditions. Dimensions must strictly adhere to the center-to-end and wall thickness requirements in Table, with no additional dimensional compensation. When used in conditions with temperatures >370°C, the minimum wall thickness must be increased by 10% compared to the standard value.
Stainless steel: Due to its low thermal conductivity, in low-temperature (< -29°C) conditions, the center-to-end dimensional tolerance needs to be reduced to ±0.040 inches (NPS 1/8 to 1) and ±0.060 inches (NPS 1-1/4 to 4) to prevent installation deviations caused by low-temperature contraction; the effective thread length needs to be increased by an additional 0.050 inches to improve sealing reliability.
Alloy steel: When used in high-pressure Class 9000 conditions, the wall thickness tolerance needs to be adjusted to +0.080 inches and -0.040 inches, and the end face roughness needs to be improved to Ra≤3.2μm to reduce the risk of media leakage.
