ASME SB 575 N06022 Plate has excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-rich environments. It has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in both reducing and oxidizing media. ASME SB 575 UNS N06022 Nickel Alloy Plate is capable of long-term use at temperatures up to 1040°C (1900°F) and typically performs best in the 1000°C to 1040°C (1832°F to 1900°F) range.

Hastelloy C22 Chemical Composition:
- Nickel (Ni): 56.0 - 63.0%
- Chromium (Cr): 20.0 - 22.5%
- Molybdenum (Mo): 12.5 - 14.5%
- Iron (Fe): Up to 3.0%
- Tungsten (W): 2.0 - 3.0%
- Other elements include carbon, manganese and silicon.
2.4602 Hastelloy Plate Mechanical Properties:
- Yield Strength: Typically around 30 ksi (205 MPa) at room temperature.
- Tensile Strength: 75 - 95 ksi (515 - 655 MPa).
- Elongation: 35% minimum (2 in, 50 mm).
ASME SB 575 N06022 Plate Welding and Fabrication:
Nickel Alloy C22 can be easily welded using common techniques such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and submerged arc welding (SAW).
