Pipe Seamless Monel-400 exhibits excellent resistance to seawater, brine, acids and alkalis. Monel 400 Seamless Pipe is resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, performing stably in fast-flowing seawater and chemical media. It is suitable for reducing environments such as hydrofluoric acid and sulfuric acid, but has limited adaptability to oxidizing media like nitric acid.

Monel 400 Seamless Pipe can be processed by conventional mechanical methods, with good weldability. Ni-Cu series welding materials (e.g., ERNiCu-7) are recommended for welding, and post-weld heat treatment is advised to restore plasticity and toughness. It is non-magnetic in the annealed state and maintains structural stability under sub-zero to high-temperature conditions (up to 1000°C).
