ASTM A815 WPS31803 Concentric Reducers reduce pipe size from a larger bore to a smaller bore (inside diameter). There are two main types of reducers: concentric reducers and eccentric reducers, available in both seamless and welded constructions.
ASTM A815 S31803 Reducer Features
Duplex UNS S31803 stainless steel reducers, with a balanced microstructure of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels, are stronger than standard austenitic grades such as 304 and 316. Highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. ASTM A815 UNS S31803 concentric reducers help convey slurries or abrasive liquids and are useful in environments where cavitation exists.
