ASTM B165 Standard Specification for Nickel-Copper Alloy Seamless Pipe and Tube. ASTM B165 specification covers nickel-copper alloy UNS N04400 in the form of cold-worked seamless pipe and tube.
Nickel-copper alloy 400 material shall conform to the composition limits specified. every Monel 400 seamless pipe should be tested: Tension test, hydrostatic test, nondestructive electric test, and rounding method shall be done in accordance with the specified requirements.
ASTM B165 Copper-nickel 400 seamless tubes are widely used in the most severe environments such as chemical processing, pollution control, pulp and paper production, industrial and municipal waste treatment, and recovery of sour natural gas.
