Incoloy 825 (N08825,2.4858) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy steel pipe, whose chemical composition mainly includes nickel (about 42% - 46%), iron (about 22% - 28%), chromium (about 19.5% - 23.5%), and molybdenum (2.5% - 3.5%), copper (1.5% - 3%), titanium (0.6% - 1.2%) and other elements. This unique combination of ingredients gives it excellent corrosion resistance and good comprehensive mechanical properties, and it has been widely used in many harsh industrial environments.

Corrosion resistance of alloy 825 pipe
In non-oxidizing acids such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and phosphoric acid, Incoloy 825 steel pipe exhibits good corrosion resistance. At the same time, it has a high resistance to stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride ions. In addition, the steel pipe also has good resistance to intergranular corrosion, and even after welding, the heat-affected zone is not prone to intergranular corrosion problems.

Mechanical properties of alloy N08825 pipe
At room temperature, its yield strength can reach more than 275MPa, and its tensile strength exceeds 585MPa, with high strength and toughness. As the temperature rises, it can still maintain good strength and oxidation resistance, and can work stably for a long time in a high temperature environment below 650℃.
Hot rolling of Incoloy 825
During the hot working process, the heating temperature and cooling rate need to be controlled to avoid structural defects caused by too high or too low temperature.
Cold rolling of Incoloy 825
During cold working, although its work hardening tendency is large, good processing accuracy and surface quality can be obtained through appropriate process adjustments, such as intermediate annealing.
Welded of Incoloy N08825
The N08825 pipe can be welded by a variety of welding methods, such as tungsten inert gas welding, metal arc welding, etc.
