Incoloy 800 VS Incoloy 800H VS Incoloy 800HT

The Incoloy 800 series alloys have evolved from 800 to 800H to 800HT, each a product of the previous generation's pursuit of optimal creep and rupture properties for high-temperature applications. These alloys not only maintain excellent strength at high temperatures but also offer exceptional resistance to oxidation, carburization, and other types of high-temperature corrosion. HT PIPE is a incoloy 800 800h 800ht Pipe supplier with 15+ export experience. Product Forms and Standard Certifications

Incoloy 800 series alloys are available in a variety of sizes including plate, bar, strip, wire, rounds, rings, and ring forgings.

  • Bars are supplied as-forged, with a ground or lath finish. Rounds and rings are supplied as-forged, and rings are supplied in the solution state.
  • Plate is supplied after solution treatment, alkaline pickling, straightening, and trimming.
  • Strip is delivered after cold rolling, solution treatment, and descaling.
  • Wire is delivered as solution-pickled coils or straight bars, or as solution-finished straight bars with a fine finish.

In terms of standard certification, corresponding standards and specifications exist for Incoloy 800 (UNS N08800), 800H (UNS N08810), and 800HT (UNS N08811).

Conclusion

  • Incoloy 800, as a base grade, offers excellent overall performance and optimal economics, making it suitable for most high-temperature corrosive environments.
  • Incoloy 800H significantly improves high-temperature creep performance and rupture strength by controlling carbon content and grain size, making it a significant upgrade to the 800 series.
  • Incoloy 800HT offers optimal high-temperature performance and creep resistance through further optimization of aluminum and titanium content and strict chemical composition control, making it particularly suitable for use in extreme high-temperature environments.
