Incoloy 800H UNS N08810 Pipe

Incoloy 800H UNS N08810 Pipe Manufacturer, supplier, Contact us for free quote and sample!

Incoloy 800H is an austenitic heat-resistant alloy based on nickel-iron-chromium. It is strengthened by adding aluminum (Al) and titanium (Ti) elements, and its high-temperature durability is optimized by high carbon content (0.05-0.10%). Incoloy 800H Pipe is widely used in energy, chemical and heat treatment industries due to its stability in high-temperature oxidation, carburizing environment and complex corrosive media.

Incoloy N08810 Pipe Chemical composition and material design

The chemical composition of Incoloy 800H is based on nickel (30-35%), chromium (19-23%) and iron (≥39.5%), supplemented by aluminum (0.15-0.6%), titanium (0.15-0.6%) and trace carbon (0.05-0.10%).

alloy 800h Physical properties and high temperature performance

The density of Incoloy 800H pipe is 8.0 g/cm³, and the melting point is between 1350-1400℃. Its thermal expansion coefficient is 14.8×10⁻⁶/K in the range of 20-1000℃. The high-temperature mechanical properties are particularly outstanding: the tensile strength remains at about 450 MPa at 600℃, and it can still effectively resist oxidation, sulfidation and carburization corrosion under continuous exposure to 815℃. Its endurance strength can reach more than 80 MPa under 700℃/1000 hours.

alloy 800h ht hot working

During hot working, the blank needs to be heated to 1150-1200℃ and quickly formed, and the final forging temperature should be higher than 900℃ to avoid carbide precipitation and reduce toughness.

alloy 800h pipe Cold processing

Cold processing (such as cold rolling or drawing) needs to be carried out after solution annealing (1100-1175℃ water cooling). When the deformation exceeds 15%, intermediate annealing is required to eliminate residual stress.

Incoloy N08810 Pipe welding process

The welding process is recommended to use inert gas shielded welding (TIG or MIG), and the welding material is ERNiCr-3 or similar composition welding wire. No heat treatment is required after welding, but it is necessary to avoid staying in the 450-850℃ range for a long time to prevent the increase of intergranular corrosion sensitivity.
