UNS S32760 Material Properties
Super Duplex UNS S32760 is an affordable, high-alloy super duplex stainless steel suitable for use in challenging environments, often marine. DIN 1.4501 material has high impact strength and good corrosion resistance at subzero temperatures.
F55 super duplex steel combines high mechanical strength (yield strength up to 600MPa) with excellent ductility for additional use in a variety of oil and gas production environments and has approximately equal austenite and ferrite microstructures.
Super Duplex UNS S32760 contains copper, tungsten, nitrogen, 7% nickel, 7% chromium and 3.6% molybdenum. S32760 super duplex guarantees high resistance to pitting corrosion, as well as high resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, PREN, pitting resistance equal to >40.0.
Super Duplex UNS S32760 Applications and Suppliers
Originally 1.4501 material was intended as a seawater-resistant material, UNS S32760 is used in pumps, seawater systems, subsea pipelines, desalination plants, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, storage tanks and pressure vessels in the North Sea and increasingly for acid gases environment, this material is widely used today.
In addition to the S32760 pipes we stock, there are also shapes such as plates, sheets, round bars, pipes, forgings, flanges and welding wires.
