Stainless steel s347h Forged Hex Nipple

s34709 High-Temperature Performance

The Stainless steel s347h Forged Hex Nipple maintains structural stability under high temperatures of 600-650℃ and long-term load. Its high-temperature creep strength and rupture strength are superior to conventional stainless steels such as 304H and 316H. At 550-700℃, its creep rupture strength is approximately 15% higher than 321H, making it suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure environments such as supercritical power plants.

s347h material Corrosion Resistance

After welding, it can resist corrosion from nitric acid, acetic acid, and other media without solution treatment. At room temperature, it can resist corrosion from atmosphere, fresh water, neutral salt solutions, and most weak acid and alkali media. It can also resist polythionic acid stress corrosion cracking in hydrocarbon media, but it is not suitable for high-chloride media (its resistance to chloride ion pitting and crevice corrosion is weaker than 316H).

s347h Mechanical Properties

In the solution-treated state, the tensile strength at room temperature is ≥515 MPa, the yield strength is ≥205 MPa, the elongation is ≥40%, and the hardness is ≤201 HB, at 600℃, the tensile strength is ≥240 MPa, and the yield strength is ≥110 MPa, maintaining good toughness with no risk of embrittlement, and capable of withstanding vibrations and load impacts in piping systems.
