Chemical composition of ASME SA790 S32750 Pipe
The chemical composition design of S32750 is characterized by high alloying, mainly containing about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum and 0.3% nitrogen. The synergistic effect of chromium and molybdenum gives it excellent chloride corrosion resistance, while the addition of nitrogen not only improves the strength of the material, but also promotes the stability of the austenite phase.
Mechanical properties of Super Duplex S32750
According to ASTM A790 and ASME SA789 standards, the typical mechanical properties of S32750 pipes include: tensile strength ≥800 MPa, yield strength ≥550 MPa, and elongation ≥15%. Its strength is more than twice that of conventional austenitic stainless steel (such as 304/316), while maintaining good toughness.
Corrosion resistance of Alloy 2507 Tube
S32750 pipes perform well in environments containing chloride ions, hydrogen sulfide or weak acid. For example, in seawater cooling systems, submarine oil and gas pipelines, flue gas desulfurization devices (FGD) and chemical reactors, it can effectively resist pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.
