A Mill Test Certificate (MTC), or Mill Test Report (MTR), also known as an EN 10204 certificate, is a document that confirms the compliance of a product with its specifications. It is a quality assurance document that provides traceability and credibility to the buyer and end-user of a product.
Typically, a Mill Test Certificate is issued by a manufacturer or a third-party inspection agency after a product has undergone testing and analysis to verify its material composition, mechanical properties, and other performance characteristics.

Mill Test Certificates Commonly Used Typesare EN 10204 Type 2.1, 2.2, and 3.1.
1. EN 10204 Type 2.1 is a basic certificate that states the product meets the required specifications and has been inspected by the manufacturer's Quality Assurance team. This type of certificate does not include any testing or inspection results.
