ASTM B165 Monel 400 seamless tube is made of alloy N04400 which is a nickel-copper alloy. 2.4360 Monel 400 consists of approximately 67% nickel and 30% copper, with small amounts of iron, manganese, carbon, and silicon. UNS N04400 is known for its excellent resistance to corrosion and high strength. The tube is manufactured using the seamless manufacturing process which involves the formation of the tube by extrusion or drawing of the raw material without any welding or joint.
