2. Monel K500 Material Rapid Cooling:

3. 2.4375 Alloy K500 Age Hardening (Precipitation Hardening):
- After solution annealing and rapid cooling, the Alloy K500 UNS N05500 is subjected to an aging or precipitation-hardening treatment.
- The aging process typically involves heating the material to a lower temperature, often in the range of 1,200 to 1,600°F (649 to 871°C).
- The N05500 material is held at this temperature for a specific period, usually several hours, to allow the precipitation of strengthening phases, such as gamma prime (γ').
4. Final Annealing (Optional):
- In some cases, a final annealing treatment may be performed to optimize certain properties or relieve residual stresses.
- Final annealing involves heating the Monel K500 UNS N05500 material to a temperature below the solution annealing temperature and holding it for a short period.
