uns n08367 material Corrosion Resistance
Resistant to uniform corrosion: Annual corrosion rate of 5% sulfuric acid (25℃) <0.1mm, suitable for neutral salt water, dilute acid, and other media.
Resistance to Pitting/Crevice Corrosion: Stable at chloride ion concentrations ≤10000ppm, suitable for seawater and saltwater environments, with excellent corrosion resistance at flange/bolt seams.
Resistance to Intergranular Corrosion: Low-carbon + stable alloy, not easily corroded in the sensitization range of 450-850℃, requiring no complex heat treatment after welding.
alx6n stainless steel High-Temperature Performance
High-Temperature Strength: Tensile strength ≈450MPa, yield strength ≈250MPa at 600℃, suitable for high-temperature structural components and conveying pipes.
High-Temperature Oxidation Resistance: Minimal weight gain due to oxidation in air at 800℃, stable oxide film that is not easily detached.
al6xn pipe Mechanical Properties
Room Temperature Performance: Tensile strength 690-860MPa, yield strength 310-480MPa, elongation >35%, HV hardness 200-250, balancing strength, toughness, and wear resistance.
al6xn uns Processing Performance
Welding: Suitable for manual arc welding, tungsten inert gas welding, etc. With the right welding materials and parameters, the joint performance is close to that of the base material. Heat input needs to be controlled to avoid grain coarsening.
Cold Working: Can be cold drawn, cold rolled, and bent. When the deformation is large, intermediate annealing is required to eliminate hardening.
Hot Working: Good plasticity in the 1150-1250℃ range, can be forged/rolled. Properties can be adjusted through heat treatment after hot working.
