ASME SA312 TP321 Cold Worked Pipe Heat treatment

Annealing involves heating the material to 1065 ℃ and then water quenching it. This provides maximum corrosion resistance to products made from this material. In addition to the annealing process, hot bending operations can also be performed in the range of 950 -1100 ℃.

 

Flattening Test

For material heat treated in a continuous furnace flattening tests shall be made on a sufficient number of pipes to constitute 5 % of the lot, but in no case less than 2 lengths of pipe.

 

Hydrostatic or Nondestructive Testing

Each pipe shall be subjected to the nondestructive electric test or the hydrostatic test.

 

Standard and Certificate

  • Mill test certificates will be issued according to EN10204.3.
  • ASTM A312 /A312M Specification. These pipes are manufactured to meet specific standards such as ASTM A312 or ASTM A358, which outline the requirements for seamless or welded austenitic stainless steel pipes.
