AL6XN Stainless Steel Sheet is a low carbon, nitrogen containing super austenitic stainless steel. It offers high strength and excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and chloride induced corrosion. Due to its nitrogen content, N08367 stainless steel plate has higher tensile strength than ordinary austenitic stainless steels. AL-6XN is a more cost-effective choice than traditional duplex stainless steels and nickel-based alloys. N08367 Stainless Steel Fabrication Process

AL-6XN alloy is annealed after heavy cold working at 2050-2150°F (1121-1177°C) and water quenched. Slow cooling is not recommended as it will reduce the corrosion resistance of the alloy.
