Product Introduction

The high temperature and high pressure environment in the boiler steam system is prone to corrosion. Duplex SAF 2205 is highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, especially in chloride-containing environments. It has a higher yield strength than common austenitic stainless steels such as 304 and 316, about twice as much. Due to its high strength, Duplex 2205 can be used to design piping systems with thinner walls, thereby reducing costs.
