ASME SA 789 UNS S32750 Tube contains 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel. It has high mechanical strength (typically up to 570 MPa yield strength) and good ductility. Super duplex 2507 has excellent corrosion resistance in marine environments. The alloy has a PREN (pitting resistance equivalent) >= 40.0, which ensures high resistance to pitting corrosion. In addition, the steel has strong resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Good ductility up to 600°F and in sub-zero environments (down to -50°C).
