ASME SA 789 UNS S32205 Seamless Tubing is a ferritic-austenitic stainless steel with a near 1:1 ratio of the two phases. UNS S32205 has high levels of chromium, nitrogen and molybdenum, giving it excellent resistance to chlorides, high resistance to stress corrosion cracking, and resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. AISI 2205 shows excellent load bearing capacity under both dynamic and static loads. The applicable temperature range is from -50°C to 250°C. Therefore, 1.4462 2205 Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe can be used in oil, gas, boilers, heat exchangers and fluid pipelines.
