UNS S32750 Pipe Corrosion resistance
2507 pipes are particularly outstanding in chloride environments, with a pitting resistance equivalent value (PREN=Cr%+3.3Mo%+16N%) as high as 43. The material also has good tolerance to dilute sulfuric acid, organic acids and acidic oil and gas media containing H₂S, meeting the requirements of NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 for acidic environments.
Super Duplex 2507 pipe strength and toughness
The dual-phase structure gives S32750 pipes excellent mechanical properties: tensile strength ≥800MPa, yield strength ≥550MPa, elongation ≥15%, and strength is about twice that of ordinary austenitic stainless steel (such as 304).
Super Duplex 1.4501 pipe Welding
S32750 suppresses the precipitation of harmful intermetallic phases by controlling the nitrogen content (0.28-0.35%), and conventional welding methods such as TIG and SAW can be used. The key process parameters include heat input (0.5-2.5 kJ/mm) and interpass temperature (≤150°C), and corrosion resistance can be restored without heat treatment after welding.

S32750 pipe chemical composition
UNS S32750 pipe is characterized by high alloying. By optimizing the synergistic ratio of chromium (24-26%), nickel (6-8%), molybdenum (3-5%) and nitrogen (0.24-0.32%), a ferrite-austenite dual-phase structure is constructed: chromium and molybdenum form a passivation film to enhance corrosion resistance, nickel promotes the stability of the austenite phase, and nitrogen significantly improves strength and pitting resistance. Strictly controlled carbon (≤0.03%) and trace elements such as manganese and silicon jointly achieve the comprehensive performance of high strength, resistance to chloride ion corrosion and high temperature oxidation resistance.
