Superior Passivity and Protection

Research indicates that C22 maintains a lower passive current density than C-276. This is primarily due to its higher Chromium (Cr) content, which facilitates the growth of a dense, highly protective oxide barrier at the alloy-oxide interface. In layman's terms: it heals itself faster and holds its "shield" better than almost any other commercial alloy.

Resistance to the "Silent Killers"

In environments containing hydrogen sulfide or high-temperature molten salts, standard steel fails rapidly due to pitting and stress-corrosion cracking. C22 tubing is one of the rare materials capable of forming chemically impervious surfaces that resist these "silent killers" of industrial piping.
