Product Introduction

Hastelloy Alloy X Sheet is an austenitic nickel-based alloy containing 22% chromium. ASTM B435 UNS N06002 has excellent high temperature oxidation resistance and good corrosion resistance. In addition, Haynes alloy is solid solution strengthened and has excellent strength at high temperatures. Hastelloy 2.4665 material has good high temperature and stress rupture properties above 1450°F and can be used in applications up to 2200°F.

Solid Solution Strengthening Hastelloy Alloy X Sheet

Heating: Nickel alloy X plate sample is placed in a high temperature furnace, usually in the temperature range of about 1150°C to 1200°C (2100°F to 2200°F).
Hot Holding: After reaching the desired temperature, the sample is held at that temperature for a period of time to ensure adequate diffusion and dissolution of the solid solution elements.
Cooling: After the solution holding stage, the sample is slowly cooled.
