Alloy N08825 tube mechanical properties

Alloy 825 pipe shows balanced mechanical properties at room temperature. Typical values are: tensile strength ≥550 MPa, yield strength ≥220 MPa, elongation ≥30%, and Brinell hardness (HB) between 160 and 200. This balance of strength and ductility allows the pipes to withstand certain mechanical stresses and deformations during installation and use.

Incoloy 825 pipe chemical composition

Nickel (Ni), as the matrix element, provides resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, with its content maintained between 38% and 46%. Chromium (Cr), with a content between 19.5% and 23.5%, provides resistance to oxidizing media corrosion. Iron (Fe), as the most abundant element in the alloy, accounts for approximately 22% to 31%.

In addition, a molybdenum (Mo) content of 2.5-3.5% mainly enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, a copper (Cu) content of 1.5-3.0% particularly improves corrosion resistance in reducing acidic environments and a titanium (Ti) content of 0.6-1.2% reduces intergranular corrosion sensitivity by stabilizing carbides.
